Sorry everyone for my melt down. It's been a really bad month.
Anyway, getting back to our topic. What was our topic again? In the book 'Gentile times reconsidered by Jonsson....
H e has some very good points in there regarding the Gentile times that we would like to share with you. First thing; don’t take anyone’s word for anything. Check it out yourself. Do the research if you are able.
We don’t want to argue dates & chronology with anyone because we respect that everyone has different beliefs and dates in mind. But just think about these few points and reason on them.
After the temple was destroyed and the Jews were exiled to Babylon, it could not have been the start of the Gentile Times [trampling of the Nations] because after they were released they were able to go back to Jerusalem, rebuild the temple and RESTORE true worship. So if you fast forward to the first century, by the time Jesus came to the earth, the Jew’s had apostatized themselves from God once again and Jesus condemned them for polluting true worship.
Not many JW’s know this but when the Roman’s came to destroy Jerusalem in 70 c.e, the Pharisees & Sadducees had taken that religion and fled to Rome. They started their own religion and that became the Roman Catholic Church. But when the temple was destroyed in 70 c.e that was the beginning of the Gentile Times, or trampling of the nations.
Even though the Jews were restored to Israel in 1948 by a United Nations mandate, they were not in control of Jerusalem and had to fight for what they have. It wasn’t until 1967, when they were allowed back into Jerusalem. To this very day the Temple Mount area is still under control of the Arabs and the Jews have not been allowed to rebuild the temple. That is why you see them praying at the small section of the old wall. This also happens to be the only piece of the original temple left.
So you can see that the ‘trampling of the nations’ is still going on to this day and will continue down to Armageddon since it is God that will destroy the governments that are in existence.

Mind Blown: Thank you for that video. WE LOVE Snarky Bill!
Yeah. we've got Lars' figured out already bat crap crazy .
If we can face 13 elders in our old cong. all at once facing charges of collusion, and take on a CO & DO at the SAME TIME, and come away from those UNSCATHED, so one person that has their own personal agenda and has to hijack everyone else's topics DOES NOT intimidate us.
Besides, the TRUE Messiah is NOT RUDE and OBNOXIOUS to everyone else LARS!!!!
Why don't you go start your own forum on another website and dont EVER post on any of our family's topics again, no one wants to hear your shit!

The 24 Elders in Revelation are NOT the anointed......
by EndofMysteries intoday i just thought of this.
i had written a thread about the false teaching of the anointed being resurrected already.
anyway, the wt assumes the 24 elders in revelation are the 144,000, and the assumption is merely because both sit on thrones.

I know most of you won't give any credibility to the Book of Enoch, since it's a 'rejected lost book' even tho at Jude 1:14, 15 the bible writer quotes directly from the Book of Enoch
14 Yes, the seventh one [in line] from Adam, E ′ noch, prophesied also regarding them, when he said: “Look! Jehovah came with his holy myriads, 15 to execute judgment against all, and to convict all the ungodly concerning all their ungodly deeds that they did in an ungodly way, and concerning all the shocking things that ungodly sinners spoke against him.”But in Enoch there are several archangels mentioned by name that are referred to as 'The most holy angels'. But they are not considered regular angels. They hold a special positions. And just for reference, Michael the archangel is mentioned as serving 'the Word', God's anointed Son personally. He's basically Christ's right hand man/angel.
Just my thoughts.

Elders! Elders everywhere!
by Julia Orwell inan elder came around this morning at 9am to ask if my husband wanted to come with him on a bible study.
my husband nipped from the bathroom to the bedroom in his undies to get dressed, while i talked to the elder!
the elder talked about how he just happened to think my husband might be free this morning, and just happened to get a call from someone wanting a bible study, and then he said to me, "why don't you come visit my house some time?

Hi Julia, you better check your bushes and trees, they're lurking and probably have hidden cameras. I have seen this happen.
To add to Gojiras post about our friends that were victims of a 'witch hunt', they came out here a month later and asked what we had told the elders, because the elders told them that we had said some things about their daughter. TOTAL LIE! We had never met their daughter, seen their daughter, or even knew what, if anything, she was even doing. So the dad went back and confronted that elder. Elder actually came out here and apologized for involving us in something that was not of our concern. Never admitted to us that he lied, but he did finally admit to the dad that he 'overstepped his authority.'

We had one years ago that was a real piece of work. G. Fields. He came in and had his own little 'Boy's club'. Only his ass kisser, good 'ol boys got parts on the conventions. When they left, our cong rented a hall and gave them a HUGE party. They even sang 'For he's a jolly good fellow'
Thank goodness we did not go because we couldn't stand the jerk. A week later, hubby was pulled into the back room and asked why weren't we there. The butt kisser elder actually said, "imagine how I felt when I noticed that my brother was not there." Funny, they had never given a crap about us before.
There was another I know of personally that admitted when they retired from the circuit work, the circuit BOUGHT them a nice house and because of the 'green' handshakes thru the years had a nice little nest egg of $130,000 to live on, plus their usual Social Security checks.
